After the sudden death of his wife – which he holds himself responsible for, Sam Healy finds that his life and relationship with his daughter are falling apart. Set in the Canadian outback, Winterland is a funny dark story about two people finding each other again on the open road.

Chad Oakes and Mike Frislev founded Nomadic Pictures in 1995. As Co-Chairmen of Nomadic, they have produced, financed and/or co-financed over Fifty film and television projects.
